LORMAN — Robert Benard Scott Sr. died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, in Stockbridge, Ga. He was 69.

Mr. Scott was born in Lorman to Eddie and Sarah Scott. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Fayette Enterprises for more than 30 years before retiring. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Scott Jr. and Phillip Scott Sr.; and two sisters, Madora Richmond and Winnie Pearl Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Elouise Queen Scott; four daughters, Diana Clark, Cassandra Faye Thompson, Nekita M. Scott and Ashley R. Alexander, all of Georgia; two sons, Eddie Smith of Fayette and Robert Scott Jr. of Ridgeland; two brothers, Richard Scott of Vicksburg and Jessie Gray; five grandchildren; one great-grandson, Collin Scott; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be Thursday at the Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center in Rex, Ga. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Scott Ponderosa in Lorman.
