COLUMBIA — Gerald H. Barbour Jr. died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was 56.

The son of the late Gerald H. and Helen Guy Barbour, Mr. Barbour lived most of his life in Columbia. He retired as an auto mechanic and was a member of Lakeview Church of God in Columbia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Dominick.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Bourne and Nicole Bourne, both of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Tabitha Blu of Columbia; two sons, Jason Barbour and Tim Barbour, both of Panama City, Fla.; two stepsons, Lewis Graham and Derrick McCloud, both of Columbia; one sister, Cathy Johnston of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; and two aunts.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lake-view Church of God.
