Achievements

• Bryton K. Hixson, a rising senior at Vicksburg High School, has been selected for membership into the National Society of High School Scholars for achievement of academic excellence. He has been recognized at VHS with band honors and for highest average in several classes. He is a member of the tennis team and assists with the soup kitchen ministry at Keystone Ministries with Refuge Church.

• Brooke Edwards has been named an All-American Scholar by the U.S. Achievement Academy. A Vicksburg Christian Home School student, her name will appear in the All-American Scholar Yearbook. She is the daughter of James and Linda Edwards. She is the granddaughter of Glenn and Perrye Waters and Deserie Edwards, all of Vicksburg, and Vernon and Francis Edwards of Memphis.
