Larry E. Cannon

Larry E. Cannon died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 61.
Mr. Cannon had lived in Vicksburg since he was 12 years old. He retired as a supervisor for Cotton-Holsum Co. (now Interstate Brand), where he was in charge of the Vicksburg-Jackson market. He was a Mason and member of Hyland Lodge No. 113 F&AM.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where he was an active deacon. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Clarice Cannon; and a sister, Charlotte Oldenburg.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Cannon; two daughters, Angela Cannon Jones and husband Tom and Lori Christine Cannon Lampkin and husband Timmy, all of Vicksburg; his father, Eddie Cannon of Vicksburg; and five grandchildren, Justin Thomas Jones, Jeremy Lee Jones, Cannon Thomas Lampkin, Taylor Ray Lampkin and Cassidy Lauren Lampkin.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home and Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Justin Jones, Jeremy Jones, Cannon Lampkin, Joe Graham, Jamie Sheller and Wayne Wooten.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Trinity Baptist Church.
