ROLLING FORK — Susan Beatrice Morgan died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson. She was 85.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Sunflower County and had lived most of her life in Sharkey and Bolivar counties.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; two sons; a great-granddaughter; her first husband, James Welch; and her second husband, Bill Morgan.

She is survived by a son, William Terry Morgan of Hammond, Ind.; two daughters, Jimmie Sue Routh of Florence and Cynthia Prestianni of Rolling Fork; one brother, Charles Reynolds of Batesville; and 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork with Victor Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the service.
