Miss McCaa to marry Mr. Amborn on June 5

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Humphries McCaa of Port Gibson announce the engagement of their daughter, Ellen Carole, to Andrew Charles Amborn. Mr. Amborn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry Amborn Sr. of Vicksburg.

Miss McCaa is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burnice Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Nelson Jr. and the late Percy M. McCaa, all of Port Gibson.

Mr. Amborn is the grandson of Cammie Huffman Falvey and the late Daniel Dewitt Falvey Jr. of Utica and Mrs. Charles Louis Amborn and the late Mr. Amborn of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2005 honor graduate of St. Aloysius High School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management in 2009. She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority and served as chairman of the Square Toasts for Scholarships Fundraiser.

Miss McCaa is an event planner with A Bash Events based in Oxford and manages the Central Mississippi area. She is also employed by Nutrition Systems in Port Gibson.

The prospective groom is a 2002 honor graduate of St. Aloysius High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi in 2006. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.

Mr. Amborn is a partner in his family business, United Cleaners of Vicksburg.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. June 5, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Port Gibson. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Humphries McCaa.
