Robert and Mitzi Hibbs of Winnsboro, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittney Michelle, to James Andrew Edwards. Mr. Edwards is the son of James and Barbara Edwards of Vicksburg.

Miss Hibbs is the granddaughter of Sheila Orten and the late Jimmy Orten and Tommy Hibbs, all of Dawson Springs, Ky., and Jane Burneal of Madisonville, Ky.

Mr. Edwards is the grandson of Vernon Lackey and the late Vera Lackey and the late James and Mattie Edwards, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Apostolic Tabernacle Christian School.

She is a secretary at Hibbs Mobile Home Transport.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg Apostolic Christian School.

He is crew leader at Hibbs Mobile Home Transport.

Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. March 13, 2010, at Apostolic Tabernacle in Winnsboro. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
