SEBASTOPOL, Miss. — Services for Ms. Dosia Monk were at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 28, 2010, in Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol, Miss. The Rev. Richard Rankin officiated, and burial was at Golden Grove Church of God Cemetery.

Ms. Monk died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, in Union, Miss. She was 98.

Survivors include one daughter, Kate Jones of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren, Jarvis Monk of Union, Joy Gilmore of Brandon, Leta Edwards of Florida, Arthur Wayne Monk of Union, Felicia Jacobson of Vicksburg, Bill Jones of Tallulah and Tonya Slaton of Birmingham, Ala.; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Monk was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Monk; and two children, Nola Dean Monk and Buddy Monk.
