Water gushes from a fire hose at 1501 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Thursday as Vicksburg firefighters extinguish a small fire on the second floor of the apartment building. Fire Capt. Shane Miller said the fire appeared to have started at 8:10 a.m. in a pile of clothes resting on an extension cord. Miller said the one-room apartment received smoke and water damage. No injuries were reported.
