HATTIESBURG — Heath Barmettler, formerly of Vicksburg, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. He was 39.

Mr. Barmettler was a former employee of River Region Medical Center’s IS Department.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jane and James Harvey of Greenwood and Jane and Richard Barmettler of Fairhope, Ala.

He is survived by his parents, Mary Jane and Henry Barmettler of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Ashley Jones of Maryville, Tenn., and Heather Kircher of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Sean Barmettler of Mons, Belgium, and Adam Barmettler of Gulf Shores, Ala.; three nephews; and friends.

Plans for a memorial service are incomplete.
