Stolen car found wrecked hours later

A car that was reported missing in the county early Saturday morning was recovered wrecked five hours later.

Shortly after 4 a.m., a 1997 Mercury sedan was reported stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Warriors Trail, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

He said the car had been wrecked when it was found at 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Culkin Road.

Pace said the car appeared to have hit a tree.
