Five plead guilty in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• John Taylor Burton, 19, 3700 Gowall Road, pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to two years in prison followed by three years of probation, plus $4,778.37 in restitution and $322.50 in court costs. Burton was arrested May 12.
• Jeffery Martin, 26, 105 Dru Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of precursor substances and was sentenced by Chaney to eight years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus a $5,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Martin was arrested Feb.10.
• Jessie James Montgomery, 42, 2 Lydia Place, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced by Chaney to three years in prison followed by placement in the Mississippi Department of Corrections Restitution Center at Hinds or Jackson County to pay $200 in restitution and $322.50 in costs. Montgomery was arrested Feb. 5.
• Charles Henry Sanders, 54, 4779 Mississippi 27, pleaded guilty to embezzlement and was sentenced by Chaney to one year in the MDOC Intensive Supervision Program (house arrest) followed by five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine, $3,661 in restitution and $322.50 in costs. Sanders was arrested March 6, 2008.
• Troy Jason Tucker, 37, 2642 Old Leland Road, Greenville, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to four years in prison followed by three years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Tucker was arrested June 22, 2009.
