Florence Cameron Davis died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 89.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Judge and Elmonia Cosby Cameron; her husband, Fred D. Davis Sr.; two sisters, Georgia Broadway and Fannie Hall; four brothers, Major Cameron Sr., Almer Apple, Ivory McGriggs and Judge Cameron Jr.; and one daughter, Mildred G. Davis.

Survivors include two sisters, Alcy Ussery of Detroit and Patsy Scott of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; one daughter, Betty Davis Brown of Syracuse, N.Y.; one son, Fred D. Davis Jr. of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren; and other relatives, including members of the Cameron, Cosby, Hall, McGriggs, McGowan and Collier families.

Lakeview Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
