Jacqueline Woodbury Vines

Jacqueline “Jackie” Woodbury Vines passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 7, 2010, at River Region Medical Center.
Born April 10, 1951, in Bainbridge, Ga., she moved to Vicksburg at an early age and as a longtime resident of the Eagle Lake community.
Mrs. Vines is survived by her husband of 40 years, William James Vines Jr.; two daughters, Tanis (Jimmy) Wicker of Vicksburg and Shani (Tommy A.) Edleston of Delta, La.; one son, Jamie Lynn (Lori) Vines of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Hunter, William Ty, Jessica, Tommy J. and Tony Edleston, Jaycee Vines, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jason and Jacob Stevens; and five great-grandchildren. Several nieces also survive her.
Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Pritchard Wright and Joseph Woodbury; and three sisters, Liz King, Pat Hines and Rosie Brown.
She was a member of the Eagle Lake Baptist Church and the Eagle Lake Ladies Bunko Club and a past member of the Ladies of the Lake Chapter of the Red Hat Society.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wicker, Gary Vines, Chris Carter, Jason Stevens, Jeffrey Stevens, Jason Wicker, A.J. Saldana and B.J. Odom.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Alvin Geter, James Wyatt Sr., Bobby Turner, Dr. Michael Davis, Dr. Lee Giffin, Dr. Stephen Sudderth, Dr. Albert Chiemprabha and employees of the Dialysis Center of Delta, La.
