LOS ANGELES — Patsy Ruth Floyd Ford died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Pacific Alliance Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was 76.

Mrs. Ford was born in Learned.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Ford; her parents, Robert and Lucille Jackson Floyd; and siblings, Robert A. Floyd, Cloatea Floyd Charlton, Jackson Floyd and R.D. Floyd.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ford and Diane Ford, both of Los Angeles; seven sisters, Mildred Floyd of Vicksburg, Odell Floyd of Edwards, Glin Floyd Ross of Utica, Trinell Floyd of Jackson, Jearlean Floyd Franklin and Adeal Floyd Smith, both of Chicago, and Berdisteen Floyd Beasley of Park Forest, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary. Visitation for the family will be at 2:45 p.m. Monday, and public visitation will be at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Inglewood Cemetery.
