Bryant, Bell to marry at Woodlawn Baptist

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ray Bryant of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Grace, to Michael Cleveland “Bucky” Bell Jr. Mr. Bell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cleveland Bell Sr. of Starkville.
Miss Bryant is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Percy DeWitt Young of Thomastown, Miss., and Wilma Tadlock Bryant and the late Albert Edward Bryant of Kosciusko.
Mr. Bell is the grandson of the late Lorita Parris Tumey of Eupora and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Cleveland Bell of Starkville.
The bride-elect is a 2003 honor graduate of Warren Central High School and 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education. She was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Miss Bryant is a juris doctor candidate in her third year at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she serves as an associate articles editor for the University of Mississippi Law Journal. After graduation in May, she will join Wells, Marble and Hurst PLLC of Ridgeland.
The prospective groom is a 2001 honor graduate of Starkville Academy and 2005 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Mr. Bell served as a loan officer for CB&S Bank, was a member of Kiwanis Civic Club and is pursuing an accounting degree from Mississippi State University.
Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. March 13, 2010, at Woodlawn Baptist Church of Vicksburg. A reception will follow at The Vicksburg hotel. All friends and family are invited to attend.
