Lena Mae Qualls

Lena Mae Qualls died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 68.

Mrs. Qualls was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Qualls Sr. and Essie Mae Qualls; a son, Herbert Qualls; three brothers, Willie Jean Qualls, Roosevelt Qualls and McKinley Qualls Jr.

She is survived by three sons, Willie Earl Qualls, Roy Lee Qualls and Anthony Qualls, all of Vicksburg; three daughters, Ernestine Ross, Roedorothy Qualls and Ann Marie Qualls, all of Vicksburg; six brothers, Robert Qualls, Jerry Qualls, Oscar Qualls, Louis Charles Qualls and John L. Qualls, all of Vicksburg, and James Hall of Tutwiler, Miss.; nine sisters, Maryrine Ham of Starkville, Rosie Lee Brown of Jackson, and Minnie Mae Johnson, Annie Bell Sylvester, Lether Mae Trisby, Luler Lewis, Ora Lee Jackson, Josephine Nelson, Shirley Jean Vample, all of Vicksburg; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and others including the Ross, Rader, and Bailey families of Vicksburg.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
