UTICA — Fern Barkley of Utica died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 90.

Mrs. Barkley was the wife of the late John Barkley of Jasonville, Ind.

She is survived by her daughters, Carlene Barkley and Suzanne Todd of Meridian, Donna Barkley Strickland and Burton Strickland Jr. of Utica; her grandson, Burt Strickland III, his wife, Kerri H. Strickland, and their daughter, Kimberly Strickland, all of Utica.

Services will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
