I awoke Wednesday morning with a good feeling in my stomach.

Who would ever have thought that an election in Massachusetts would affect us here in Warren County and all over the United States as much as did Scott Brown getting elected to the Senate.

With Brown becoming the 41st Republican, he didn’t just rock President Obama’s boat, he turned it completely over.

Does anybody remember Obama saying, “We won the election, so get over it.”? Does anybody remember one promise Obama has kept that he made while campaigning?

Brown won this election by declaring Ted Kennedy’s seat to be the people’s seat, not Ted Kennedy’s seat. This has got to be the biggest upset in U.S. history.

There will be no more working behind closed doors on Christmas Eve on a health care bill. There will be no more senators being bought off, no more cap-and-trade deals to suit Al Gore’s global warming theory. There will be no more of Obama’s holier-than-thou attitude.

The only thing I can think of to make me feel better is that someone could come in and replace Bennie Thompson so I could be represented in the U.S. House.
