Miss Cessna to wed Mr. Lindsey Dec. 18

James and Diane Cessna of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy, to Dedrick Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey is the son of Mary Lindsey of Vicksburg and Billy Brown of Toledo, Ohio.
Miss Cessna is the granddaughter of the late Annie Mae Tolliver of Vicksburg and the late Jack and Amanda Cessna of Utica.
Mr. Lindsey is the grandson of the late Minnie Lindsey of Vicksburg; the late Marshall Davis of Edwards; and Mattie Brown and the late Purvis Brown of Schlater, Miss.
The bride-elect is a 2006 honor graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of the women’s choir, varsity choir, Student Council and 4-H Club.
She graduated cum laude in 2010 from Alcorn State University, where she was an LS-MAMP student leader and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Miss Cessna is a fourth-grade teacher with the Coahoma County School District.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he was a member of the Key Club, SECME, football team and track and field team.
He graduated in 2006 from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Lindsey is a quality engineer at Baxter Healthcare in Cleveland, Miss.
The wedding will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 18, 2010, at Greater Grove Street Church. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
