City man arrested for marijuana

A Vicksburg man was arrested at his home Wednesday for drugs.
Aaron Freeman, 33, 711 Redbone Road, was charged with sale of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute after officials found half a pound of marijuana during the arrest, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
Freeman was released from the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bond Wednesday.
Motorcycles, trailer missing in county
Two motorcycles and a trailer were reported missing from a home on Shadow Wood Drive in Warren County, records showed.
A red 1999 Titan valued at $14,000, a black 1997 Harley-Davidson valued at $14,000 and a 5-by-14-foot single-axle trailer valued at $1,000 were reported stolen at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday.
Greenville woman held for shoplifting
A Greenville woman was in the Warren County Jail today for shoplifting, records showed.
Valerie Morris, 48, 238 Morris St., was being held without bond.
Forgery suspect picked up for Jackson
A Vicksburg woman was released to Jackson police today after being held in the Warren County Jail, records showed.
Jeannie L. Wooten, 37, was arrested at her home in the 4200 block of South Frontage Road. She was picked up on a Hinds County warrant on charges of prescription forgery.
Jackson man nabbed for drug forgery
A Jackson man was arrested at the Mississippi Department of Corrections office on Clay Street Monday for a prescription forgery at a Vicksburg business.
Charles Myrick, 38, 1013 Carlisle St., is accused of passing a fake prescription for OxyContin at People’s Drug Store, 1521 Washington St., on Jan. 20, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
Myrick was released from the Warren County Jail on $1,500 bond.
