SATARTIA — Lela Darling of Satartia died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 67.

Mrs. Darling was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carey Darling Sr.; a son, Carey Darling Jr.; and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Earl Darling; her daughter, Sarah Ann Taylor; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elbethel M.B. Church in Satartia with Gregory Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Knight and Lindsey Funeral Home of Yazoo City.
