Fall has begun and events to usher in the season will start this weekend.

Dates to mark on your calendar:

Downtown Fall Festival

This 16th annual event will kick off Friday night with a free concert featuring Rewind and Big Joe Shelton. Festivities will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday with live entertainment, food and vendors along Washington Street.

New this year will be the Bricks and Spokes bike ride, set for 8 a.m. Saturday. Riders may choose a 10-mile, 30-mile or 50-mile course. Cost is $25. For information, visit www.getmeregistered.com, call the Vicksburg Main Street Program office at 601-634-4527 or e-mail kimh@vicksburg.org.
