Leola Williams died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 53.

Ms. Williams was a cook and a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa Lee Washington and Lee Washington Sr.; one sister, Leola Ferguson; and four brothers, Billy Ferguson, Eddie Washington, Lee Washington Jr. and Woodrow Ferguson.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Williams of Vicksburg; two sons, Darrell Ferguson and Willie James Williams Sr., both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Clara Lee Washington Carter and Vera Mae Washington, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Joseph Washington and James Washington, both of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
