What has become a biennial staple of the Christmas season in Vicksburg returns this weekend as First Baptist Church again stages “God’s Christmas Gift,” a walk-through program depicting the life of Jesus Christ.

Seen through the eyes of Old Testament prophet Isaiah, the program features a living Christmas manger scene with animals but also includes prophecies made hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus as well as the Crucifixion, Resurrection and his Ascension into heaven.
