Claudia Kendrick died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 76.

Mrs. Kendrick was a member of Green Chapel M.B. Church and a retired licensed practical nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willie Kendrick; her parents, Susie Jones and Elias Morris; a sister, Delores Benton; and two brothers, Cornelious Morris and James Morris.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Williams of Greenville, Tanya Kendrick of Vicksburg and Annette Speed of Harvey, Ill.; two sons, Jerry Williams and Jimmy Williams, both of Harvey; two brothers, Roy Brown of Vicksburg and William Morris of Chicago; numerous grandchildren; other relatives and friends including Johnathan Billups.
