Brighter Bazinsky board

Johnny Norris with Munn Enterprises of Hattiesburg installs a new scoreboard at Bazinsky Field Tuesday. The scoreboard measures 11 feet tall and 36 feet wide and cost the City of Vicksburg about $25,000 said Jeff Boyett in the Recreation Department. Joe Graves, director of the Recreation Department, said the board will be more cost-effective than the previous one because the parts for the old board, that was installed 13 years ago, were hard to find. The new board is also wireless and uses LED lights that are more cost-effective. (Meredith Spencer*The Vicksburg Post)
