Joseph and Roxanne Gay of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Paul Matthew Rohrer. Mr. Rohrer is the son of Dolores and Matthew Rohrer of Vicksburg.

Miss Gay is the granddaughter of Ruth Gay and the late Pearson Gay and Fred Malik and the late Marguerite Malik, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Rohrer is the grandson of Mary Angelini and the late William Angelini of Florida City, Fla., and the late Earl Rohrer and the late Marjorie Rohrer of Homestead, Fla.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School and Hinds Community College, where she received a nursing degree. She is a registered nurse in the emergency room at River Region Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Vicksburg High School. He is an engineer technician with Applied Research Associates.

Vows will be exchanged Nov. 6, 2010, at the antebellum home of the bride’s parents. A reception will follow.
