Services for Alexander Slaughter Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Malcolm O’Leary officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rosary will be tonight from 6 until 7.

Mr. Slaughter died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at his home. He was 87.

A Warren County native, Mr. Slaughter retired from the Vicksburg National Military Park after 23 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
