Bernice Moore

PHILADELPHIA — Bernice Moore died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at Choctaw Residential Center. She was 99.

Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church and a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Moore; one son, James Moore; one granddaughter, Alicia Voge; one great-grandson, Isaac Moore; and sisters, Edna McDonald and Sula Ferguson.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Houston of Brandon, Oneva Rowzee of Newton, and Glenda Williamson of Philadelphia; one son, Reuben Moore of Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including Denice Poe, Erdis Parker and Jean Hall, all of Vicksburg.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Coldwater Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Rowzee officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 8 at McClain-Hays Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Coldwater Cemetery.
