Margie D. Warnock

Margie D. Warnock died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Heritage House Retirement Center. She was 86.

A Kansas native, Mrs. Warnock was a longtime resident of Vicksburg. She was a bookkeeper for Warnock’s Service Center and worked later as a teller for First National Bank. She was a member of Bowmar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Warnock; one daughter, Marilyn Kay Richards; one son, Robert “Bobby” Warnock; a sister, Bonnie Dent Curley; and her parents, Harvey and Gladys Dent.

Survivors include one son, Ron Warnock of Canton, Ga.; two daughters, Linda Stevenson of Vicksburg and Sandra Russell of Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, John Dent of Lake Ozark, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry White officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jim Kindhart, Corey Kindhart, Josh Warnock, Chad Warnock, Brad Warnock, Tommy Palmer, Caleb Richards and David Richards.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rebecca Tatum, Rachel Forte, Brenda Aldridge, Cindy Lewis and Donna Emerson.
