BRANDON — James Alton Arrington died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson. He was 64.

A native of Smith County, Mr. Arrington lived in Delta City for a number of years and had been a Brandon resident for the past 10 years. He was a member of Delta City Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Evan Arrington; and his mother, Grace Dobbs Arrington.

Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine Melton of Brandon and Kathy Arrington Dunmyer of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork with the Revs. Rick Gray and Nick Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Golden Link Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service.
