A fire Saturday night damaged a home on North Washington Street.

About 7:30, Vicksburg firefighters responded to 3325 N. Washington St. and extinguished the flames within 10 minutes, said battalion chief Craig Danczyk.

“It appears to be accidental in nature,” said Danczyk. “Fortunately, the whole building wasn’t damaged.”
