James Curry Sr.

PATTISON — James Curry Sr. died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at his home. He was 68.
Mr. Curry was a boiler operator and a member of St. Luke Christian Church in Pattison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Alice Mae Bates Curry; a brother, Leroy Curry; and a sister, Franis Nora McCall.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Tisdale Curry of Pattison; three sons, James Curry Jr., Trennie Curry and Tirrell Curry, all of Jackson; one daughter, Tammie Lloyd of Jackson; five brothers, Dan C. Curry of Vicksburg, John Curry Sr. of Jackson, J.C. Curry of Fayette, Jimmie Curry of Hermanville and Jerland Curry of Tillman; two stepbrothers, Carnell King of Port Gibson and Gerald King of Atlanta; two sisters, Tommie Lee McNeal of Florida and Alice Moses of Saudi Arabi; two stepsisters, Diane King of Ohio and Marilyn King of Atlanta; a stepson, Barry Tisdale of Denver; a stepdaughter, Sarah Frazier of Denver; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including William Coleman and Robert Coleman of Pattison.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Christian Church with Elder James Devine officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
