Bryant is accused of attacking the jailer as the employee leaned down to pick up a laundry bag in Bryant’s cell, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

The jailer, identified as Kenneth Robinson, was treated and released from a hospital, Pace said.

Deputies and Vicksburg police fanned out across the areas near the jail this morning and were using police dogs to track Bryant.

Bryant was being held without bond pending an initial appearance in court.
