Eight-year-old Ken Hall practices volleying the ball with his instructor during the Tennis in the Park camp at Halls Ferry Park on Wednesday. Ken is the son of Joel and Amanda Hall of Edwards. The camp, sponsored by the City of Vicksburg, is conducted by Alcorn State tennis coach Tony Dodgen and five of ASU’s tennis team members. The camp began Monday and will run through Friday, and is open to children and adults. The juniors camp runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and the adult camp goes from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Registration is still being taken for the final days.  (Katie Carter*The Vicksburg Post)
