UTICA — Charles M. Armstrong Jr. died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at his home in Utica. He was 56.

Born in Pine Bluff, Ark., Mr. Armstrong was a graduate of Sheridan High School. He was a truck driver and a salesman for Southern Wholesale Grass Co. for 35 years. He participated in team roping.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa C. Armstrong of Utica; a daughter, Margaret Armstrong of Sheridan, Ark.; a son, David Armstrong of Mabelvale, Ark.; two sisters, April Armstrong of Pennsylvania and Lisa Knickerbocker of Leola, Ark.; and two brothers, Scott Armstrong of Atlanta and Ronnie Armstrong of East End, Ark.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica with the Rev. Dennis Aaron officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Orion Cemetery in Sheridan.
