UTICA — Clark Russell “Rusty” Fowler Jr. died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Jackson. He was 48.

Mr. Fowler was a lifelong resident of Utica, where he was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Utica Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Blue.

Survivors include two daughters, Heather Fowler of Louisiana and Suzanne Fowler of Bude, Miss.; his stepfather and mother, Lamar and Eloise Ford Cook of Utica; two sisters, Annie Lee and Emma Carraway, both of Texas; and four stepsisters, Lynn Parks of Utica, Wanda Lequesta of Oklahoma, Becky Laney of Texas and Tammy Sibley of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Balliet, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home of Utica. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight at the church.
