Logs cover the ditch along the westbound side of Oak Ridge Road, at U.S. 61 North, Saturday morning after a log truck driven by 49-year-old Norman Allen of Bastrop, La., flipped. Norman was northbound on 61 when he swerved to miss another vehicle, crossed Oak Ridge and lost control of the truck, said Trooper Kervin Stewart of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol. Traffic was reduced to one lane on Oak Ridge for about 20 minutes. No one was injured. (Meredith Spencer*The Vicksburg Post)
