David Bell washes his scuba gear Sunday at his home on Chambers Street after returning from a scuba trip to Clear Spring Lakes in Texas. Bell, who has been scuba diving since the 1970s, said he tries to go to the Gulf of Mexico to dive about twice a month, but since the BP oil disaster he has had to find other places to dive. Bell also helps teach a scuba diving class in Monroe.
