I am disappointed that the Republican Party lost an opportunity to show us the conservative difference between it and the Marxist-bent Democratic Party.

Recently, Rand Paul announced his candidacy to run for senator on the Republican ticket in Kentucky. Huge contributions have already been given to his campaign, but the Republican Party itself backs and is giving big bucks to a man who is anything but conservative.

Tea Party members in Kentucky are working hard to get Rand Paul elected and the Tea Party group is just one of the many conservative organizations backing Rand Paul. There is no doubt Paul, despite not being the Republican Party’s choice, is the people’s candidate. The Republican Party has chosen to support the other man, and has given big Republican Party bucks to him, but he will not win because conservatives have given up voting for the lesser of two evils.

If our country is to survive we must be vigilant and able to recognize wolves in sheep’s clothing. Newt Gingrich’s true identity should be obvious, so clad in fuzzy white wool is he! Although Gingrich, playing “Mr. Conservative” big time, now talks the good talk, he has proved he does not walk the good walk. Besides his support of the Untied Nations, the New World Order and the Council on Foreign Relations, in the November election in New York’s 23rd Congressional District, Gingrich had a clear choice, but chose to ignore the conservative candidate and endorsed an ultra-liberal, left-wing Republican. Party First! Same song, second verse.

The Republicans’ insidious encroachments of our liberties were and are as devastating as those of the Democrats! Our thanks should go to the Democrats for awakening voters to this sad truth.

James Madison warned, “There are more instances of the abridgment of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”

Now is the time for all good men to stand, to become informed, and to demand a political organization that will bring our nation back to the level of weak central government and greatly strengthened states’ rights. The people must, once more, become the bosses and the central government, the servant. This is an absolute necessity if our country is to continue as a sovereign, constitutional, law-based nation. Unless this change occurs, citizens have lost all the freedoms our ancestors fought for when they seceded from that powerful government of the King of England.
