MEMPHIS ­— Lubertha Chiles died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at her daughter’s home. She was 88.

Mrs. Chiles was a Christian and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Smith and Sarah Lawerence; and a son, Jessie Chiles.

Survivors include her son, Edwin Chiles of Vicksburg; a daughter, Ann D. Davis of Memphis; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including Lisa Brown of Vicksburg.
