Boolos CPA Firm in Vicksburg has added a partner, Andrew N. Oakes.

Oakes, a Vicksburg native, has been with the firm since 2004. He is a 1996 Warren Central High School graduate who received his accounting degree from Louisiana State University in 2001, his Certified Public Accounting certification in 2003 and his Certified Fraud Examiner certification in 2009.

He is a member of the Y Men’s and Vicksburg Rotary clubs. He is a deacon at Bowmar Baptist Church.

Oakes is the son of Larry and Sandi Oakes and the grandson of James and Margaret Rowland and the late Joe and Emma Neal Oakes, all of Vicksburg.

He and his wife, Carrie, have two sons, Dawson, 6, and Landon, 4.
