Services for Albert “Cody” Galloway will be at noon Wednesday at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. J.D. Magee officiating. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Tuesday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.

Mr. Galloway died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 74.

He was a journeyman bricklayer for more than 40 years and attended Bowman High School and St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Galloway and Annie Currie; two brothers, Walter Lewis and Alfred Galloway; and a sister, Inez Collins.

He is survived by two sons, Ernest Galloway of Vicksburg and Jonathan Hamlin of Fort Worth, Texas; four daughters, Eulanda Gail Smith of Vicksburg, Evette Galloway Griffin of Grand Prairie, Texas, Shondell Galloway of Houston, Texas, and Gwen Moore of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Emma McKenzie of Mansfield, Texas; and other relatives.
