Minnie Scott died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 83.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Lemira Scott; her parents, Gabriel Ragans and Mary Branch; one son, Robert Lee Scott; two sisters, Georgia Johnson and Elmira Kinnard; and one brother, Coleman Ragans.

Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
