The state of agriculture in Mississippi and ways to keep the $6.5 billion industry competitive in the 21st century will be discussed at an Oct. 18 agribusiness summit hosted by Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson.
The summit will provide an opportunity for the business and development community, local farmers and agricultural associations to advance the growing agricultural community through networking sessions and panel discussions.
Mississippi State University, Mississippi Farm Bureau, and the Delta Council helped organize the summit. For more information, visit www.bryantsummit.com.
