PORT GIBSON — Dorothy Fredia Gordon died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at the Claiborne County Senior Care Center. She was 91.

A native of Hubbard, Texas, she had made her home in Port Gibson since 1945. She was a member of Mosswood Country Club ladies golf association and she had worked part-time for Guion-Glenwood Flower Shop. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gordon; three brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia G. Hay and husband George of Port Gibson; a sister, Lee Battles of Hubbard, Texas; a brother, Ken Woodall of Port Lavaca, Texas; two grandchildren, Michelle Coccaro and husband John of Vicksburg and Tina Hay of Brandon; and two great-grandchildren, Johnna and Patrick Coccaro of Vicksburg.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wintergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Herrin officiating.

Pallbearers will be John Coccaro, Patrick Coccaro, Hank Drake, Mac Drake, John L. Torrey and Walter Cade, Jr.

Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson has charge of arrangements.
