12 sentenced in circuit court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Brandon Albert, 30, 901 W. Seventh St., Apt. 116, Texarcana, Texas, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to an additional three years of probation, plus $1,097.50 in court costs and fees. Albert was arrested June 14, 2010, for auto burglary.

• Walker Biedenharn, 20, 4345 Bovina Cutoff Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of auto burglary and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to the Ninth Circuit Court District Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $2,000 fine, $945 in restitution and $1,145 in costs and fees. Biedenharn was arrested March 30.

• Charles Lenell Duck, 49, 4754 Lee Road, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, third offense, and was sentenced by Chaney to the Drug Court program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $2,000 fine and $997.50 in costs. Duck was arrested Oct. 24.

• Jason Ferguson, 29, 1520 Ethel St., pleaded guilty to fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer and was sentenced by Patrick to four years in prison, plus $322.50 in costs. Ferguson was arrested Aug. 30.

• Joe Howard, 44, 1923 Baldwin Ferry Road, pleaded guilty to sale of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Patrick to two years in prison followed by one year of probation, plus a $500 fine and $622.50 in costs. Howard was arrested Aug. 13.

• Christopher D. Hyder, 27, 4076 Barland Road, Pattison, pleaded guilty to DUI third offense and was sentenced by Chaney to the Drug Court program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $2,000 fine and $997.50 in costs and fees. Hyder was arrested Jan. 10.

• Burrell R. Hynum, 49, 678 Kirkland Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and possession of precursor substances with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and sentenced by Chaney to the Drug Court program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $500 fine and $1,297.50 in costs. Hynum was arrested May 22, 2010.

• Arthur Johnson, 59, 727 Adams St., No. 3, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison with credit for time served, plus $762.50 in costs and fees. Johnson was arrested July 30, 2006, for aggravated assault.

• Willie Lyons, 17, 1210 Jackson St., pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced by Chaney to complete the Mississippi Department of Corrections Regimented Inmate Discipline Program followed by five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $522.50 in costs. Lyons was arrested April 4.

• Antonio Peters, 28, 304 Enchanted Drive, pleaded guilty to DUI third offense and was sentenced by Chaney to three years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Peters was arrested Nov. 25.

• Jay’zarr Pugh, 18, 1416 Greenhill Road, pleaded guilty to sexual battery and was sentenced by Chaney to five years of probation, plus a $3,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Pugh was arrested May 26, 2010.

In Sharkey County for the week ending Friday:

• Jeremy Washington, 20, 53 Holly Bluff Road, Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced by Chaney to five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Washington was arrested Jan. 29.
