Teasha L. Brewer died Monday, May 9, 2011, at her home. She was 39.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Ms. Brewer was a 1989 graduate of Warren Central High School and Hinds Community College.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lowery; and her maternal grandmother, Warene Nations.

Survivors include one daughter, Brittany Brewer of Vicksburg; her father, Odis “Pud” Lowery Jr. of Vicksburg; her mother, Sherry Lowery of Vicksburg; her maternal grandfather, Wilbur F. Nations Sr. of Vicksburg; and her paternal grandparents, Odis and Rosa Lowery of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cane Ridge Cemetery in Lorman. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home of Vicksburg. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Ross, Wilbur Nations Jr., Ricky Lowery, Buddy Hampton, Terry Sweeney and Wayne Holmes.
