Mr. Herring marries Miss Totoro in Florida

Clifford James Herring and Nikki Chanel Totoro were married at 5:30 p.m. April 30, 2011, in Rosemary Beach, Fla. Pastor Randy Greene officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Totoro of Henderson, Nev., and Russell and Mona Ragsdale of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of John and Roberta Walsh of Somers Point, N.J.; Joseph Totoro of Ashburn, Va.; Carmen DiMichele of Philadelphia, Pa.; and Ann DiMichele of Lakewood, N.J.

The groom is the son of Howard and Myra Herring of Meadville. He is the grandson of the late Charles Herring and Pauline Herring of Ridgeland and the late James Dickey and the late Mary Kate Dickey.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were ocean blue, meadow green and gold. Music for the ceremony was presented by Mendy Broussard, flutist.

Maid of honor was Alyssa Brooke Totoro of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Laura Beth Lyons and Holly Ann Hearon, both of Vicksburg; Vista Sullivan Herring of Meadville; Laura Parker Nabors of Batesville; Josephine Annie Hood of New Orleans; Lindsay Elizabeth Medlock of Atlanta; and Megan Elizabeth Easterling of Birmingham, Ala.

Honorary bridesmaids were Laura Virginia Hudspeth of Birmingham and Michelle Suzanne Howard of Mobile, Ala.

Howard B. Herring of Meadville served as best man. Groomsmen were Howard Brett Herring Jr. and Jonathan William Myers, both of Meadville; Adolph Wettlin Treppendahl III of Woodville; Joshua Lee Bradford of Jackson; Charles Clint Herring of Gulf Shores, Ala.; Kyle Evan Pierce of Midland, Texas; and John Patton VanVeckhoven Jr. of Austin, Texas.

Ushers were Francis C. Weaver Jr. of New Orleans and Terry Wade Woodcock of Meadville.

Reader was Jordan Bell Amborn of Vicksburg.

A reception hosted by the bride’s parents followed at Town Hall at Rosemary Beach.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They will make their home in Southaven. Both are employed as acquisition and relocation agents at Ridge Point Consultants.

Brunch

Myra Herring, Kay Scott, Melissa West and Nona Trout honored the bride and her bridesmaids with a brunch on the morning of the wedding.

Rehearsal dinner

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Seagrill in Rosemary Beach.

Bachelorette party

Laura Beth Lyons hosted a bachelorette weekend and lingerie shower for the bride at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin, Fla.

Bachelor weekend

A bachelor weekend was held for the groom in New Orleans.

Engagement party

The bride was honored with a shower at the home of Vista Herring in Meadville. Co-hostesses were Kayla Fisher, Jasmine Sullivan, Darla Haire, Kim Bessonette, Kay Scott, Cheryl Jeffus, Patti Myers, Jean McGehee and Nona Trout.
